SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
The subjects of the written examination NDA, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:—
HOWEVER, THE PAPERS IN ALL THE SUBJECTS WILL CONSIST OF OBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS ONLY.
THE QUESTION PAPERS (TEST BOOKLETS) OF MATHEMATICS AND PART “BT OF GENERAL ABILITY TEST WILL BE SET BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS ENGLISH.
CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY FOR NDA
- Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 2002 and not later than 1st January, 2005 are eligible.
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- HOWEVER, Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, shree Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
I) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy :—
12th Class pass equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
II) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for similarly the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :—
12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class examination can also apply for this examination.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
FIRSTLY, Candidate should have details of one photo ID viz. Aadhaar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.

The details of this photo ID will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form.

HOWEVER, Common candidates of NDA and NA Examination (I) and (II) 2020 are advised to carry the Photo ID as per NDA and NA Examination (II) 2020 application while appearing for the examination.
Above all,Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
