Note :

Estimated 4 percent for differently abled candidates in direct appointment to the post of forest guard under the provisions of Resolution No.-13062 dated -12.10.2017 of General Administration Department, Bihar, Patna under the Disability Rights Act, 2016 In lieu of 20 posts under horizontal reservation, in the regional establishment of the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, the vacant clerical cadre 20 posts of the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, order memorandum-2 / forest area, 04-04-2020-1756, dated 14.05. Approval to be made available by 2020.

Cut Off Date :

The cut-off date is set for January 01, 2020 for all candidates to complete the age limit, educational qualification and three (03) consecutive years in the service of the Government of Bihar.

Reservation :

(i) The reservation in vacancies of posts and services in Bihar (for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Act, 1991 (Bihar Act 3, 1992) (as amended from time to time), as applicable on the date of advertisement. Reservation provisions will apply.

(ii) Provision for women:

According to the reservation provisions, 3 percent posts are reserved for women from backward classes.

Keeping this 3 percent reservation intact, 35 percent posts will be reserved for women in each reserved / non-reserved category against the remaining 97 percent posts of reserved and non-reserved classes.

This reservation will be a horizontal reservation. In the event of non-availability of qualified women candidates, posts can be filled from male candidates of the relevant category (reserved / non-reserved) in the same recruitment year.

(iii) Provision for grandson / granddaughter / grandson / natni of freedom fighters of Bihar state:

Provision of 2 (two) per cent horizontal reservation in the appointment of the grandson / granddaughter / granddaughter / Ntini of the state of Bihar freedom fighters who have pension sanctioned by the Central Government.

The reserved / non-reserved category to which the selected candidates belong will be counted in the same reserved / non-reserved category.

(iv) Notification No. 2622 of General Administration Department, Government of Bihar, dated February 26, 2019 (Gazette No. 284, Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections) and “Bihar Posts and Services Vacancies (Economically Weaker Sections) For) The provisions of the Reservation Act, 2019 ′ will apply.

(v) Reservation in vacancies of Bihar posts and services as per proviso to clause 4 (2) of “Bihar Act-3, 1992 (update)”, “Outside candidates of the state of Bihar shall not claim for the benefit of reservation under this Act. “.

Therefore, the candidates of reservation category of other states will be counted as candidates of unreserved (general) category.

Accordingly, the age limit and other qualifications prescribed for the unreserved (general) category candidates will be applicable for them. Therefore, all the candidates of other states should submit their application in their application form declaring themselves as general category candidates, otherwise their application will be automatically rejected.

Eligibility for the application for the post of “Forest Guard” / Bihar Forest Guard Eligibility 2020

It is mandatory to be 1 Indian citizen.

2 Candidate’s Educational Qualification: – Minimum educational qualification recognized board / university for recruitment to the post of “Forest Guard”. The Council will pass Intermediate (10 + 2) or equivalent.

The age of the candidate will be as per the date of birth as mentioned in the “Matriculation or equivalent” examination certificate: Minimum age 18 (eighteen) years and maximum age 23 (twenty three) years for men and women of general (unreserved) category.

As per Section 4 (1) of the Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections Act, 2019 “This provision is in addition to the reservation prescribed for various reserved categories by any other Act applicable in the State”.

Therefore, the prescribed age limit will be applicable for the general (unreserved) men and women of the economically weaker sections.

(3) Minimum age 18 (eighteen) years and maximum age 25 (twenty five) years for backward class and extremely backward class men and women.

(4) For men and women belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes

Minimum age 18 (eighteen) years and maximum age 28 (twenty eight) years.

(5) Government servants working in the Government of Bihar, who till the cut off date

Those who have completed minimum three years in regular service and for those who want to take part in this competitive examination, maximum age limit of five

(06) A waiver of years will be granted.

(7) The age calculation of the candidate in matriculation or equivalent examination certificate
The date will be based on the date of birth.

Appointment / selection process. Bihar Forest Guard

(A) Phase I – ‘Written Examination’ –

(i) After the collection of the applications, the applications will be scrutinized and written test will be conducted for the candidates whose applications are found to be correct. The level of written examination will be intermediate (10 + 2) level of Bihar School Examination Committee. Mathematics and General Science questions will be of matriculation or equivalent level. Except the question of ‘Hindi language’, the remaining questions will remain in both Hindi and English languages.

(ii) Question paper –

The two-hour question paper will have four sections in which a total of 100 questions will be of objective type (multiple choice questions). Four (04) marks will be payable for each correct answer. The total of the written examination will be 400 marks.

In Part-1, 30 questions will be based on current events of national and international importance, history of India and questions related to Indian National Movement, Geography, Indian Monarchy and Governance and Economic and Social Development.

In Part-2, 25 questions will be based on questions related to basic reading, interpretation of data, sufficiency of data etc. at the tenth grade level.

25 questions in Part-3 will be based on questions related to general issues related to general science, environment, ecology, biodiversity and climate change.

The purpose of Part-4 is to reveal your thoughts in Hindi language accurately and to test your ability to read and understand serious logical prose. In Part-4, 20 questions will be related to knowledge of Hindi language.

The format of question papers will usually be of the following types: 1. Understanding the passages given. 2. Word usage and vocabulary. 3. Hindi grammar.

(iv) Negative Marking – The following negative marks will be given by the candidates for all incorrect answers:

(A) There are four options for the answer to each question. For the wrong answer given by the candidate for each question, one third of the marks given for that question will be deducted as penalty.

(B) If the candidate gives more than one answer, he will be considered to be an incorrect answer, even if one of the given answers is correct and the question will be punished according to the serial number (a).

(C) If the question is left blank, ie no answer has been given by the candidate, then there will be no penalty for that question.

(v) OMR / Answer Book: – In the written examination, the candidate will be required to enter the desired information (such as roll number, question number, article writing and signature) on the OMR based answer book. Will do according to In the event of not filling the required mandatory information or incorrect entry on the Answer Book (OMR), the candidate will automatically be deemed to be canceled and their answer book will not be evaluated, the Board will not be responsible for it.

(vi) The minimum cut-off marks for different categories in this examination are as follows:

General category – 40 percent

Backward class – 36.5 percent

Backward Class Annexure-1 (Extremely Backward Class) – 34 percent

Scheduled Caste / Tribe category and percentage of all reserved and non reserved category women – 32 percent

Those candidates who fail to achieve the minimum qualification prescribed in the written test, will be declared Disqualify and they will be called ‘Physical Test. Approval will not be given to take part in ‘Physical Efficiency Test’.

(vii) Based on the marks obtained in the written examination, the physical examination of the candidates for each reservation category according to the merit in two times ratio (1: 2) of the vacancies advertised from the successful candidates. Will be done for efficiency test.

(viii) Physical examination to the selected candidates on the basis of written examination. It will be compulsory to appear and succeed in the proficiency test and no relaxation in the minimum prescribed criteria of physical qualification will be predictable. (B) Phase II – ‘Physical test / efficiency test’. Medical Examination: –

(1) On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination, the physical test of the candidates who are placed in the merit list prepared by the Board will be conducted by a committee constituted by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Bihar, in which it will be mandatory to be found eligible. Physical measurement penalty / efficiency shall be as per the advertisement 8.4. Candidates who do not meet the minimum prescribed criteria / criteria will be declared unsuccessful. As per rule 4 (iii) of Appendix ‘A’ of the “Bihar Under Forest Service Rules, 2013”, in addition to examination of physical criteria / criteria, medical examination will also be done.

(2) Candidates in which symptoms of corona infection will be found, written examination, physical examination. Will not be allowed to participate in proficiency test and record verification.

Final Merit List –

The merit list for selection for appointment to the post of ‘Vanarakshi’, meritwise reservation reservation will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the written examination. In case of two or more candidates getting the same marks in the written examination, their mutual place in the merit list is determined based on their dates of birth; And in the case of two or more candidates receiving equal marks and having the same date of birth will be done on the basis of their educational qualification.

Thus, in the case of candidates receiving equal marks, in the case of older people and those with similar scores and same date of birth, candidates with higher educational qualification will be placed higher in the merit list.
