Southern Railway has decided to engage 32 Full Time Medical Practitioners as detailed below for a period up to 31 Dec 2020 from the date of engagement to manage the COVID-19 wards at Railway Hospital/Perambur, Chennai. All the interested candidates should note that:

  • This has 32 Vacancies
  • Requires MD/DNB or MBBS Qualification
  • Age limit 53-65 years
  • Pay Scale Of Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 95,000 per month
  • Last Date To Apply is 6th October, 2020

Qualifications

Name of PostsQualification
IntensivistsMD in Internal Medicine / Anaethesia /Pulmonary Medicine/ Emergency Medicine.
Fellowship in Intensive care or at least one year in ICU of a reputed hospital.
Diagnostic RadiologistsMD/DNB in Radio Diagnostic with 3 years experience in all modalities
PhysicianMD in internal Medicine / Pulmonary Medicine work experience of one year in reputed hospital
GDMO(1) M.B.B.S with experience in ICU working and operation of ventilator Machine.#
OR
(2) The candidate should be M.B.B.S and registered with the Indian Medical Council. One year work experience in a reputed hospital

Age Limit

For candidates from open market– Should not have completed 53 years of age as on 01.10.2020. However, this upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.


For Retired Medical Officers from State / Central Government including retired Railway doctors should not have completed 65 years of age as on 01.10.2020.
