QUALIFICATION
- The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate from a recognized board.
- And also the candidate should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and candidates whose results of the qualifying examination are awaited are not eligible.
- Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for an apprenticeship.
AGE LIMIT
- The candidate’s age limit should be a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 24 years.
- Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ PH candidates as per Government rule regulation.
PAY SCALE
- Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices for the period as applicable for the designated trade and they will be paid a stipend during their training as per the extant rules.
APPLICATION FEES
- For the SC/ ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Women candidates the application fee is exempted.
- For all candidates, the application fee is Rs.100/-.
