Chief Medical Officer Una released total 14 new vacancies for the Medical Microbiologist/ Project assistant and Lab Technician. Applications are invited to attend online interview, due to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, for the following positions as mentioned below. These positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis.

QUALIFICATION

1)Medical Microbiologist1st class Master’s Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/
Biochemistry/Virology/Molecular Biology equivalent from
a recognized Institution/ University with four years
experience in the relevant field in Government
recognized organization		Ph.D. in relevant subject with experience with in molecular
diagnostics RT-PCR, preferably with COVID-19 RT PCR
diagnostic testing. Preference will be given to candidates
with prior experience in setting up and/or managing COVID-19
/Molecular Diagnostic testing lab. Candidates with Good Scientific
writing and communication skills as evidenced by publications
either as Primary or Author Corresponding in peer reviewed
international journals will be preferred
2) Project assistant1st class Master’s Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/
Biochemistry/ Virology/Molecular Biology equivalent from
a recognized Institution/ University.		Experience of working in BSL-2 or equivalent lab for molecular
diagnostics. Attitude to learn, capable to read, understand
and follow instructions.
3) Lab Technician12th pass in Science subjects and two-year diploma in Medical
Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required
experience in the relevant field in Government recognized
organization.
*B.Sc. degree in Medical Laboratory Technician shall be treated as
3 years’ experience 		Experience of working in BSL-2 or equivalent lab for molecular
diagnostics. Attitude to learn, capable to read, understand
and follow instructions.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1) The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for up to 6 months or coterminous with the scheme. It may be extended/ shortened further on the basis of performance and requirement.

2) Application received incomplete or after due date will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated and called for interview.

3) The application without the self-attested copy of following documents will be summarily rejected.
i) Mark sheet and Degree of all qualifying examination.
ii) Experience certificate of all the experience mentioned in the application.
iii) Certificates of additional certification if any.
iv) Proof of age such as matriculation certificate.
v) Caste Certificate.

4) It is reiterated that these are contractual positions only and no other benefit except monthly consolidated remuneration is admissible.

5) The CMO Una reserves the right to terminate this contract work at any point of time without assigning any reason.

6) The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment as the temporary post 1S coterminous with the scheme/ project.

7) The CMO Una reserve the right to fill up or not fill up the vacancies notified in the advertisement.
