QUALIFICATION

• Assistant Professor:

Eligibility: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in the desired area of specialization, along with preceding degrees in relevant disciplines.

• Associate Professor (Geology):

Eligibility: Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree in the desired area of specialization, along with an M.Sc. degree in Geology or Applied Geology.

• Associate Professor (Civil Engineering):

Eligibility: Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in the desired area of specialization, along with a B.Tech./ B.E. degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, they should hold an M.E. or M.Tech. degree in the relevant field.

• Professor:

Eligibility: Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in the desired area of specialization, along with preceding degrees in relevant disciplines.

AGE LIMIT

PAY SCALE

For Assistant Professor:

• Grade II (Pay Levels 10 / 11, as per 7th CPC)
• Grade I (Pay Level 12 as per 7th CPC)

For Associate Professor:

• Pay Level 13A2, as per 7th CPC

For Professor:

• Pay Level 14A, as per 7th CPC

HOW TO APPLY

1. To submit the application online, click on the recruitment link posted on the NITK website.
2. The candidates should register in the recruitment portal.
3. Fill up the online application form and upload all relevant documents in the recruitment portal along with the application form.
4. A PDF copy of the application form will be generated after submission of the online form.
5. The PDF printout of the online application duly signed (Separate for each post) along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents should be sent in a sealed envelope superscribed as Application for the post of “…………………..” in the Department of ……………………. at NITK, Surathkal by hand/speed / registered post. by hand/speed / registered post to The Registrar, National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, Mangaluru – 575 025, Karnataka, India.
6. The printed application must reach NITK, Surathkal on or before June 30, 2023.
