QUALIFICATION

1) | General Duty (GD) | (i) Should hold a degree of recognised university with minimum 60% aggregate marks. (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. |
2) | Commercial Pilot Licence (SSA) | (i) Should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics and mathematics as subjects with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed diploma are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. (ii) Should possess current Commercial Pilot Licence issued/ validated by Director General Civil Aviation on the date of submission of application. |
3) | Technical (Mechanical) | (i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60% aggregate marks. OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). (ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. |
4) | Technical (Electrical/ Electronics) | (i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks. OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). MEDICAL STANDARDS
Height:
(i) Asst Commandant (GD), Technical: 157 cms minimum. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. regulations.
(ii) Asst Commandant (CPL-SSA) (Men/Women): Minimum 162.5 cms and maximum 197 cms, leg length minimum 99 cms.
Weight:
Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable.
Chest:
Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.
Eye Sight:
(i) Asst Commandant (GD) 6/6 6/9 – Uncorrected without Glass. 6/6 6/6 – Corrected with Glass.
(iii) Asst Commandant 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other CPL holders (SSA) correctable to 6/6.
(iv) Asst Commandant (Tech) 6/36 6/36 – Uncorrected without Glass. 6/6 6/6 – Corrected with Glass
HOW TO APPLY
1) Applications will be accepted only ‘ONLINE’ from 18 Feb 2022 (1100 hrs) to 28 Feb 2022 (1700 hrs).The candidates are to logon to the link given below and follow the instructions for registering yourself with e-mail ID/mobile number. The candidates are to ensure validity of e-mail and mobile number at least up to 31 Jan 2023.
2) The candidate may apply for only one post viz. either Assistant Commandant (GD) or Assistant Commandant (CPL-SSA) or Assistant Commandant {Tech(Engg)} or Assistant Commandant {Tech(Elec)} in reference to advertisement of one cycle of recruitment. If a candidate fills multiple applications in one particular recruitment cycle, then his latest application will be accepted and all previously filled applications will be rejected. Online application will be further scrutinised for eligibility and may be rejected at any stage if found ineligible in any respect.
3) Documents to be uploaded in the application. The candidates will be required to upload documents in two phases. Few documents are required at the online application stage and few are required to be uploaded if shortlisted for Stage-II. The candidates are to scan the original documents (neither photocopy nor self-attested photocopy is to be scanned) as applicable for the post applied and upload in the online application.
