VACANCIES

Defence Research and Development Organisation, Recruitment and Assessment Centre invite applications from Indian Nationals to fill 181 Scientist-B vacancies. Candidates can check vacancies in the below table.

QUALIFICATION

1. Electronics & Communication Engineering

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering with
• Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

2. Mechanical Engineering

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engg with
• Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering

3. Computer Science & Engineering

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science & Engg with
• Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Engg

4. Electrical Engineering

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Valid GATE score in Electrical Engg.

5. Material Science & Engg / Metallurgical Engineering

• First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Metallurgy from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Valid GATE score in Metallurgical Engineering.

6. Physics

• First Class Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Valid GATE score in Physics.

7. Chemistry

• First Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Valid GATE score in Chemistry.

8. Chemical Engg

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering.

AGE LIMIT

Candidates should satisfy the following age limit. The category wise age limits are given below.

AGE RELAXATION

• 10 years – PwD candidates.
• 5 years – serving Civilian Central Govt. employees working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres and where a relationship could be established that the service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the advertised positions.
• The upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per the rules in vogue.

PAY SCALE

Candidates finally selected for the appointment will be given a salary as per Government Rules. Check the below table for salary details.

APPLICATION FEES

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable non-transferable application fee only online. There is no application fee for SC / ST / Divyang and Women candidates.

• Rs.100/- – General / OBC / EWS male candidates.

• Click SUBMIT.
• Pay the Application fees.
• Print the Application form for future reference.
