Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society has released total 05 new vacancies for the Various new posts. Applications are invited for the following post on yearly contract basis, further renewable on the basis of satisfactory performance.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

1)ICTC Laboratory Techniciani) Should hold at minimum a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from State
Government-approved institution.
ii) However, the services of the existing LTs who do not hold DMLT may continue if they have done
Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology and have over 5 years of experience working in ICTC.
2)Blood Bank Laboratory Techniciani) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (M.L.T.)
ii) Should have completed 10+2 before obtaining diploma or degree.
iii) The degree or diploma should be from a University/Institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
iv) The candidate should be registered with the concerned ParaMedical Council if applicable
v) Knowledge of computers.
vi) Post Graduate degree.
vii) Proficiency in MS Office.
viii) Minimum two years after degree and three years afterdiploma.
ix) Degree holders must have minimum six months experience in blood banking; Diploma holders must have minimum one year’s experience in blood banking.
3)Blood Bank Counselori) Post-Graduate in Social Work / Sociology / Psychology/Anthropology / Human Development
ii) Knowledge of computers
iii) Proficiency in MS Office.
iv) Minimum two years after essential qualification

IMPORTANT NOTE

1) Selection will be made through a written exam and interview.

2) Service conditions will be governed by the guidelines issued by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) from time to time.

3) The short listed candidates will be informed regarding the test/interview after scrutiny of their applications.

4) In case of receipt of large number of applications, the short listing of candidates will be made on the basis of merit.

5) The desirous candidates having the requisite qualifications/experience mentioned above shall submit their Application/Bio-data on or before 08.03.2021 along with self attested photocopies of certificate/testimonials and one recent passport size photograph duly self attested, a copy of SC/OBC certificate issued by Competent Authority, to the Project Director, Chandigarh State AIDS Control Society, Chandigarh at the address mentioned above.

6) Original certificates/testimonial will be checked at the time of interview.

7) The candidates, whose OBC category is listed in Centre list as well as U.T. Chandigarh list, will be considered eligible for the said post.

8) The candidates must mention the name of the post and category on the top of their bio-data.

9) Preference will be given to local candidates having knowledge of Hindi and Punjabi.

10) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing for the written test/interview.

11) Number of posts may be increased or decreased as per the requirement.

12) The incomplete applications in any respect will be rejected without any intimation to the applicant and the applications received through e-mail shall not be entertained.

13) CSACS reserves the right to cancel the above positions at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
