CBSE 10TH 12TH CLASSES EXAMS CANCELLED

SUPREME COURT PERMITTED FOR CANCELLATION OF CBSE BOARD 10^TH AND 12^TH EXAMS

Examinations for classes 10^th and 12^th CBSE which were schedules from

1^st July to 15^th July, 2020 stand cancelled.

Assessment of the performance of students in the cancelled examinations

will be done based on the assessment scheme suggested by the competent committee of the CBSE for

declaration of result for both class 10^th and class 12^th .

ASSESSMENT SCHEME

NOTE 1

For the students of both class 10th and 12th who have completed all their examinations,

their result will be declared on the basis of their performance in the examination.

NOTE 2

The students who have appeared in the examination more than three subjects,

the average of the marks obtained in the best of three subjects will be awarded .

NOTE 3

For students who have appeared in the examinations in only 3 subjects,

the average of the marks obtained in the best two performing subjects will be awarded.

10TH CLASS RESULT

ONE CAN CHECK RESULTS FOR 10TH 12TH CBSE BOARD ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE cbse.nic.in

However, Results based upon the assessment scheme will be declared by 15^th July, 2020

so that candidates can apply and seek admissions in higher educational institutions in India and Abroad, based thereon

FOR 12TH CBSE OPTIONAL EXAMINATION WILL BE TAKEN:

However , for class 12^th, CBSE will conduct an optional examination in the subjects whose examinations were schedules to be conducted from 1^st July to 15^th July, 2020 as soon as conditions are conducive, as assessed and decided by the central goverment .

Candidates whose result will be declared based on the assessment scheme will be allowed to appear in these optional examinations to improve their performance, if they wish so.

However the marks obtained by a candidate in these optional examinations will be treated as final

FOR CANDIDATES IN 10TH CBSE CLASS

No further examinations will be conducted and the declared the previous exam result as final.
