CDFD Hyderabad, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following purely temporary vacancies in research projects funded by National / International agencies at CDFD like DST/DBT/ICMR/CSIR etc. All the interested candidates should note that:

  • Requires MLT/DMLT,BCA/B.Sc/B.Tech, Ph.D Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS

Research Associate

  1. Ph.D. in Biophysics / Chemistry / Life Science / Biotechnology / Genetics / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Bioinformatics from recognized University / Institute or MD / MS / MDS.

OR

  1. M.V.Sc./ M.Pharm./ M.E. / M.Tech. having three years of research, teaching and design and development experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Project-Senior Research Fellow

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with two years of research experience.
  • Desired Qualifications:
    Qualified National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

OR

Qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.

Project-Junior Research Fellow

  • Essential Qualifications:

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.

  • Desirable Qualifications
  1. M.Sc. or equivalent course in Biophysics / Chemistry / Life Science / Biotechnology / Genetics / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Bioinformatics.
  2. Experience in research as demonstrated by the successful completion of a research project in a reputed Institute / Centre.
  3. Qualified National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

OR

Qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.

Project Associate – I

  • Essential Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / M.V.Sc. or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.

  • Desirable Qualifications
  1. Qualified National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

OR

  1. Qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.

Project Associate – II

  • Essential Qualifications:
  1. Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / M.V.Sc. or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent;
  2. 2 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
  • Desirable Qualifications
  1. Qualified National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

OR

  1. Qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.

Senior Project Associate

  • Essential Qualifications:
  1. Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / M.V.Sc. or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent;
  2. Four years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.

OR

Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma or MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent.

Principal Project Associate

  • Essential Qualifications:
  1. Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bacherlor;s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent;
  2. Eight years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.

OR

  1. Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma or MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent;
  2. Four years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

Project Scientist

  • Essential Qualifications:
  1. PhD in Life Science subjects
  2. Minimum 1 year of Post-PhD experience in Molecular Biology
  • Desirable Qualifications

Experience in Real Time PCR, Molecular biology and Biosafety level 2 laboratory work

Laboratory Technician

  • Essential Qualifications:

BSc (any branch of Life Science)

OR

DMLT with one year experience in diagnostic laboratory work

OR

MLT with one year experience in diagnostic laboratory work

  • Desirable Qualifications

Experience in Molecular biology / PCR / Cell culture / Diagnostics

Data Entry Operator

  • Essential Qualifications:

BCA/B.Sc. /B.Tech

  • Desirable Qualifications
  1. One year experience as Data entry operator
  2. Good knowledge of MS Excel
