VACANCIES

Institute of Banking Personnel and Selection has released 8612 vacancies for the recruitment of Officer Scale (I, II & III) & Office Assistant Posts in various regional rural banks. The IBPS RRB 2023 post wise, category-wise & state-wise vacancy distribution will is given in detail.

QUALIFICATION

1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Proficiency in local language.
• Working knowledge of Computer.

2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Proficiency in local language.
• Working knowledge of Computer.

3. Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Two years experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

4. Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)

• Information Technology Officer: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and One year experience in the relevant field.
• Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India & One Year experience as a Chartered Accountant.
• Law Officer: Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate & Two years experience as an advocate or Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions.
• Treasury Manager: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university / institution & One Year experience in the relevant field.
• Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university & One Year experience in the relevant field.
• Agricultural Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Dairy / Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate & Two Years experience in the relevant field.

5. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

AGE LIMIT

The age limit for Officer Scale (I, II & III) & Office Assistant posts is given below.  Candidates who apply for the above posts must satisfy the following age limit to be eligible for the posts. Check the minimum and maximum age limits here.

PAY SCALE

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to reserved category candidates as per the Government of India Guidelines. Check the age relaxation in the given table.

NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP

A candidate must be either

• a Citizen of India or
• a subject of Nepal or
• a subject of Bhutan or
• a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,

provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

2. On the home page Click -> Apply Online.
3. New users must register themselves using their active email id and mobile number.
4. Registration Number and Password will be generated.
5. Candidates should note down the Registration Number and Password.
6. Log in and fill in the application form carefully.
7. Verify the same before submission.
8. No correction is allowed after submitting the form.
9. Candidates must also upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format.
10. Click SUBMIT.
11. Pay the application fee through online mode only.
12. Print the application form for future reference.
