QUALIFICATION
For The Posts Of Associate Professor, Additional Professor, Assistant Professor, Professor:
For Medical Candidates:
- 3-14 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining of M.D./ M.S./ M.D.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto, or
- 1-12 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty after obtaining of M.Ch./ D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto, or
- 0-11 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject specialty for candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of D.M/ M.Ch in respective discipline/ subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
For Non-Medical candidates:
- 3-14 years of teaching or research experience indiscipline/ subject concerned after obtaining a Ph.D.
Essential Qualification in the Department of Hospital Administration:
For Medical Candidates:
- A medical qualification included in Schedule I & ll or part ll of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-ll of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act).
- A postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD/ MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto, or
- A Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from a recognized Institution/ University or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
- Fourteen/ Ten/ Six/ Three years of teaching or research experience after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD/ MS/ MHA or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
For Non-Medical candidates:
- Master’s Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
- Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration e.g. Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration.
- Fourteen/ Ten/ Six/ Three years of teaching or research experience in Hospital Administration in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree in Hospital Administration or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
AGE LIMIT
- Candidates applying on Direct Recruitment Basis: Faculty Post: Age limit not exceeding 50 years for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor and 58 years for Additional Professor and Professor.
- Candidates applying on a Deputation Basis: The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions of deputation provided under the Department of Personnel & Training as amended from time to time.
- Candidates applying on a Contractual Basis: Not exceeding 70 (Seventy) years as of closing date for Professor/ Additional Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor posts.
