a) i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department
or
ii) with five years regular service in posts in level-11 of Pay Matrix and
b) Possessing the essential qualification and experience prescribed as under :- Master degree in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Biophysics/ Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Forensic Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Micro Biology/ Chemistry/
Biotechnology/ Bio Chemistry/ Physical Anthropology/ Genetics/ Pharmacology/ Pharmacy/ Psychology/ Criminology/
Computer Science/ Electronics/ Human Genetics.

OR

B.E./ B. Tech in (Biotechnology/ Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation) / Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)/ Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE)/
Information Technology/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering(EEE) from a recognized University/ Institute.

ii) Ten years experience of research in Forensic Laboratory under Central/ State or UT out of which eight years of
experience in accredited laboratory/ institution for management of quality’ assurance programme accredited by QCI, STQC, NABL, NAAC. NAEAB, SMART, BIS etc.
